Terms and Conditions
The terms that apply when you use our website and services.
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the website syleatsltd.site and any engagement with Syl Eats Ltd. By using this website, you agree to these terms.
1. About us
This website is operated by Syl Eats Ltd, registered in England & Wales, with its address at 107 Baring Street, South Shields, England, NE33 2EQ, United Kingdom. Contact [email protected] or +48 884 852 929.
2. Use of the website
You agree to use this website lawfully and not to misuse it. All content is owned by or licensed to us and may not be reproduced without permission.
3. Information provided
Information on this website is provided for general guidance and does not constitute a binding offer or professional advice. Any proposal or quotation is subject to a written agreement.
3a. Food, allergens and orders
Information on the 14 allergens regulated under assimilated Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 is available for everything we sell and will be given before you order. Please tell us about any allergy or intolerance before ordering, and where you are ordering for a group, please obtain and give us the allergy information for everyone in it at the time of ordering. We prepare counter food and catering in a single kitchen using shared equipment, preparation surfaces and frying oil, and we therefore cannot guarantee that any item is free from any particular allergen, even where the recipe does not contain it. Where we cannot be certain, we will say so rather than reassure you. Food packed on the premises for direct sale carries the ingredient and allergen labelling required by law.
Food is sold subject to availability, and descriptions, weights and prices are those given at the time of ordering. Food is prepared for prompt consumption; once it has left us, storage, holding temperature and reheating are the customer’s responsibility, and for catering the customer is responsible for serving and holding the food safely at the event. Catering orders are confirmed in writing with quantities, the delivery or collection time and any allergen requirements, and cancellation terms are those agreed at the time of order. Because prepared food is perishable and made to order, orders cannot be cancelled once preparation has begun, and the statutory right to cancel a distance contract does not apply to the supply of food of this kind; this does not affect your rights if food is not as described or not of satisfactory quality. Nothing we say about food is nutritional, dietary or medical advice.
4. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our liability in connection with this website is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
5. Privacy
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published at the time of your visit applies.
